Orphanage Summer Camp 2013 is so close we can almost taste it! The beauty of this camp lies in the fact that we have waited 4 years for these doors to be open to us once more. We are so excited to utilize this time with the children of the Pravdinska Orphanage.
Open Arms began 8 summers ago with a summer camp at this very orphanage. It was a defining factor of our ministry's foundation, but over 3 years ago the orphanage director shut out all organizations from working with the children. We were devastated, but God has continued to move over the years.
Through rendezvous on the orphanage sports fields to meeting up with the kids at events in Sumy, our relationships remained intact and we slowly made our way back into the good graces of the orphanage director.
We never dreamed she would open the doors so widely at this point, BUT the opportunity is HERE! As we've had very little time to pull together programming, Ukrainian volunteers, and the necessary supplies - we definitely need your help to make this happen!
The goal: $1000.
One Week.
50 children.
Games, Bible Lessons, Special events, birthday celebrations, and a whole lot of lovin'.

$10 or $500 - every little bit helps us reach the goal to bring God's love into an orphanage full of children who are desperate to experience it.
