MAKING CAMP EXTRA SPECIAL

THANK YOU! We have been so incredibly blessed and encouraged by the response to summer camp sponsorships! All kids will be covered from transportation to food and we couldn’t be more excited for what this time will hold!

Now that the essentials are taken care of, we are looking for those who would like to sponsor: “the extras." We are hoping to add some extra (amazing) activities to the camp schedule and your help can make that happen.

THESE THINGS INCLUDE:
  • Ice Cream Party – A traditional sundae bar that will undoubtedly rock these kids' worlds! Ice cream, toppings, whipped cream… the works! You will also be providing the bowls and spoons to help make this grand night happen.
  • River Picnic – this will be our “camp finale” on the last day of camp and it will include a picnic lunch of sandwiches, chips, juice, soda, cookies and all that goodness for each of the kids.
  • Projector – Don’t be fooled by the initial request. It isn’t as simple as it sounds. Sponsoring a projector for camp will allow worship lyrics to be displayed and movie nights to be enjoyed! This is a sponsorship that will last well into the future with Open Arms.
  • S'Mores – Bonfires are always a must for every Open Arms camp and we are hoping to add some extra special additions to this bonfire that will live on for all Open Arms bonfires to come. Not only will you help provide the essentials (marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers) but we will purchase chairs and blankets to ensure the singing, laughing, and “s’moring” continue long into the night!
  • Sports Equipment – Our camp is in need of some new volleyballs, soccer balls, footballs and more. We will also use this sponsorship to purchase new swim floaties for daily river time.

We suggest an $80 contribution to help with these needs, but every little bit helps!

To everyone that has supported a kid for camp already, we are so utterly grateful!

Thank you all so much,
The Open Arms Team
