After numerous trips to the dentist Pasko's teeth are finally finished! He is so thankful for his new smile. He went back to school today and told us that he was so excited to show all of his friends.

Christmas Fundraiser At Work

Thank you again for helping make 2011 a great year! We are looking forward to this new year and what God has in store.

With the donations given through the Christmas fundraiser we have been able to buy winter coats and take kids to the dentist for some much needed dental work. Right now Sasha Pasko is staying with us and getting his teeth worked on. It is going to be a long process for him so please be praying. He is a little nervous about all of the work they have to do, but he is willing to go and is excited for the end result. He even said yesterday, “When all of this is done, I am going to smile so big at everyone!”

We are also currently dealing with fixing a broken fridge. It has been broken for about three weeks and someone is hopefully finally coming to fix it tomorrow. Please pray that it can be fixed for relatively cheap and if not that we can afford a new one. In the meantime, we have been getting creative and making our own fridge out on the balcony. Unfortunately, this has not worked as well as we would have hoped because it is so cold out and everything freezes.  We have now resorted to using our windowsill as a fridge. It's working much better but the downside is that it means the inside of our apartment is really cold. We have been turning the oven on a lot in an attempt to warm it up but it only really helps in the kitchen. The room where the kids sleep has been especially cold, only 60 degrees in there today. We are wanting to look for a space heater or two as soon as possible to help out our government-controlled heating. If you interested in helping, let us know!
